Pete Burns Plastic Surgery Before And After Photos
Pete Burns plastic surgery story is a story to learn a lot from. His wacky style to change his appearance every then and now didn’t help him much. But he loved all the cosmetic transformation he got. It all started in the eighties when he wanted to get his nose fixed. Since then, he’s been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. People requested him to stop. But Pete Burns went on to have more than 300 plastic surgery and corrective measures to improve his looks. Wacky, isn’t it?
Pete Burns was the founder of the pop band Dead Or Alive and rose to worldwide fame and success with his single ‘You Spin Me Round‘. The success and fame brought in the fortune he’s been looking for which he spent on transforming himself. In total, he had four nose jobs, two cheek implants and a life-threatening amount of work on his lips. Unfortunately, plastic surgeries he opted for, failed miserably. To fix it all, he had to bear 300 operations.
Pete Burns Plastic Surgery Before And After Photos
Pete Burns before plastic surgery was a man of striking personality. After all these plastic surgeries, it’s shocking to see him as a strange, unrecognizable man who’s crazy about his looks. Everyone despised the idea and what he’s been doing to himself. But he didn’t.
Pete Burns Plastic Surgery – Nose Job
In his earlier days, someone head-butted him in Liverpool breaking and sending his nose to one side. To get it fixed, he underwent a nose job and failed.
“There were tubes up my nose. He’d removed most of my nose and there was just two nostrils and a little bit of bone in the middle. I nearly fainted.”
“The amount of surgeries I’ve had are absolutely minimal compared to the reconstructive surgeries I’ve had. Probably 300.”
At one point of his career, he used an eye patch to hide the part of his one-sided nose.
He went on to have four nose jobs but nothing good really came out of it. The first nose job cost him $923 approx.
Pete Burns Transformation – Life-Threatening Lip Fillers And Its Consequences
However life-threatening his nose surgeries may sound, it’s the lip fillers which almost took his life. Along with the nose jobs, he’d been using lip fillers already. Due to the excess usage of lip fillers, he felt there’s something wrong with his lower lips.
To get it fixed, he consulted a plastic surgeon. And in his own words,
“He held me down on the operating table and punched two syringes in.
“At least a pint and a half of yellow steaming fluid was vomited out of the lip.”
In 2004, the excessive amount of lip fillers used started spreading across his face and other body parts, leaving holes in the skin spewing yellow liquid out. He almost got his lips amputated.
He then sued the plastic surgeon and won £450,000 in the settlement.
To get rid of the lip infection, he had to go through few major operations a week for two years.
The lip infection took a toll on his health causing severe damage to his Adam’s apple, back of his eyes, kidney and liver. A piece of his stomach was removed to create the upper and lower lips.
The absolute horror befell him when he started developing blood clots and pulmonary embolisms in my legs, heart and lungs.
“I got these black marks on my skin and I thought they were bruises.”
Pete Burns was rushed to hospital with a survival chance of mere two percent. However, the doctors managed to save him after putting him on blood thinners for 10 days.
Even after going through so much, he still wants to improve his appearance.
Pete Burns Before Plastic Surgery
He was gorgeous. He was handsome. But things changed and with it his appearance. His drive to look better than himself and others. Even after few close brushes with death, he went on to have as many plastic and reconstructive surgeries as a human could bear.
He had so much of plastic surgeries and reconstructive surgeries that he went bankrupt.
To him and to his wacky style, there’s no extent. No rationale. He’s addictive to plastic surgery, of course. He often wore women’s clothes. To which he said,
“Everyone’s in drag of some sorts, I don’t give a fuck about gender and drag. I’m not trying to be a girl by putting on a dress – gender is separated by fabric. I was brought up with an incredible amount of freedom and creativity. Society has put certain constraints on things.”
